About Us

Hello friends,

Thank you for coming to our  website and clicking on our story. Our story, like most others, are quite long and complicated, so I'll do the best I can. If we've never had the privilege to meet you, than let me start with a brief introduction.

My name is Nick Brodeur. The beautiful woman to my left, is my fiance Stacie Roark. (Wedding 04/11/15) The cute little girl in the photo, that's our 4 year old daughter, Elyssa. Together, we make a happy and most wonderful team.

Stacie's the Managing Director for the Arlington/Smokey Point Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys working with the businesses of Arlington/Smokey Point, Washington. Through meetings, luncheons, and special events, Stacie enjoys her role as a community leader and coordinator.

Myself, I'm a stay at home dad to our lovely daughter Elyssa and full time student. Through the University of Phoenix online, I hope to soon earn an Associates Degree in Communications. I'd recently became permanently disabled by a condition known as "Hemiplegic Migraines." A condition that causes stroke like symptoms on one side of my body. Episodes can last from hours, to days, to months at a time. As my Doctor put it, "Writing is something you CAN still do!"(Fun fact: Stacie's now jealous of me for getting to spend each day with Elyssa and I'm jealous of her for being able to go to work. :-))

Stacie and I started America Ready Project together for countless reasons, but none more important than the health of our family. Can we make an extra buck selling Thrive? Yes. That would also mean we've touched and changed many lives together. Making a difference in peoples lives, leaving our small mark on this world, that's what matters most to us.

In August of 2014, just two days after Stacie's 33rd birthday, her heart unexpectedly stopped. I performed CPR on her for over 8 min. until the paramedics arrived and took over. After nearly 15 min. of working on her, Stacie once again began to breath. While she began to let out short, high pitched yelps of, "mom," I felt unable to help her, yet relieved to hear her voice again. To this day there's no real reason or cause to be determined, other than Stacie having a low potassium level.

Stacie now lives with a pacemaker/ defibrillator as a safety net, in case her heart decides to stop again. She'll never be 100% and will probably never truly remember that day. She's not only my miracle, she's my inspiration and strength. In that moment, I learned just how truly lost I would be without her. On that day, we learned to appreciate each other like never before. We learned what a gift life is and how quickly that gift can be taken. We understood very quickly, it's not just each day that matters, but each moment.

Each moment we encounter in life, we're blessed with a choice. Choices determined from a series of choices we faced yesterday. The choice to love, to share, to live, or to hate, to be selfish, and to hide. I've come to find that when your determined to live, loving and sharing come naturally. When you're determined to hide, hate and selfishness come naturally.

Stacie and I make a great team because of our shared love of God, Family, and Country. We both have strong admiration for our founding fathers and the principals for which our country was founded. We're not ashamed to say,"Under God" when we pledge our loyalty to our country or the flag that represents it.

Why did we choose to represent Thrive? It's simple really... It's a healthy and cheap way to feed our family and do so with whole, organic, non GMO, foods. We decided that life's already to short, why not feed ourselves the best food possible to sustain it?If something unforeseen were to happen tomorrow, we'd be ready. Simply by continuing to live from food, we already use daily.

Please join us in spreading the message of personal responsibility and preparedness.

Please join us in spreading peace of mind, in a world filled with fear and uncertainty.

Why not start now?
